My family loves this recipe- Sunday Morning Breakfast Casserole. I also recently made this for our Mother’s Day Breakfast at Church and it was a hit. This is my go-to breakfast dish because it is so so so easy and yummy. You only need 4 ingredients. I like to fry up the sausage the night before that way I can assemble and go in the morning!
Sunday Morning Breakfast Casserole Ingredients:
1 Can of Crescent Rolls (8 roll size)
1 Pound of Breakfast Sausage (I use mild)
6 Eggs (Beaten)
2 Cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese (I use mild)
Sunday Morning Breakfast Casserole Directions:
Spray a 9 X 13 baking dish with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out the crescent rolls and arrange them so they cover the bottom of the pan.
Brown Sausage in a skillet and drain well. (I always do this the evening prior so I can just assemble and go in the morning) Sprinkle the sausage over the dough.
Beat 6 large eggs in a bowl and then pour over the sausage.
Top with cheese.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
Slice into squares and serve. It is easy and yummy!
