10 Minute Peppermint Pie (No Bake)

Here is a super quick and easy Holiday Recipe- 10 Minute Peppermint Pie. No baking required! This pie takes between 5-10 minutes to assemble. You will need to allow for additional time for softening the ice cream and Cool Whip. Plus, you will need to allow additional time for the pie to set in the freezer.

I tested this recipe out at our church’s Thanksgiving Day dinner and it was a hit!

Here is what you need:

Peppermint Ice Cream

Cool Whip

Oreo Pie Crust

Soft Peppermint Candies

Step 1

Soften the Ice Cream and Cool Whip. (It has to be soft enough to spread, but not melted.)

Step 2

Fill orea pie crust with the softened peppermint ice cream and smooth.

Step 3

Top ice cream with softened Cool Whip and Smooth.

Step 4

Add a 5-6 soft peppermint candies to a plastic bag and carefully crush using a mallet (or skillet).

Step 5

Top pie with crushed peppermint candies. Place the pie in the freezer and allow to set. This pie must be kept in the freezer until you are ready to serve.

Once you pie has firmed up you are ready to go. I usually allow the pie to set out on the counter for 5 minutes before slicing.

I was able to do 2 pies with one half gallon of peppermint ice cream. I used a regular sized container of Cool Whip for each pie.
