Cranberry Wassail (Easy Crockpot Recipe)

My friend Cathy makes a great cranberry wassail. She brings it to all our Winter Church functions. My husband loves it! Last week he hinted that he would like me to make some for home.

When I was researching wassail recipes, I actually found no two recipes to be alike….so here is my version of Cranberry Wassail (crockpot recipe). By the way, the recipe I am sharing today is non-alcoholic.

(A wassail is a traditional holiday mulled drink. The history is pretty neat. I recommend a simple internet search if you are interested.)

What You Need:

8 Cups Apple Cider

8 Cups Cranberry Cocktail

1 Orange Sliced

2-3 Cinnamon Sticks

1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons of Honey

Place all the ingredients in a crockpot and heart on high. Once hot, turn dial to warm. Ladle out wassail into cups. Serve warm.

This is super easy recipe. This version is both tart and sweet.  Of course you can add more or less sugar to taste.

I loved that this is done in the crockpot so I can leave it all day. Can’t wait to try it and sit by the fire with a cup. Thank you for sharing at Share It One MOre Time. Cathy
