Pop Rocks Firecracker Cookies

Pop Rocks Firecracker Cookies

Here is a fun treat for the kiddos in celebration of Independence Day- Pop Rocks Fire Cracker Cookies. Do you remember these popping candies from your childhood? My kids thought these Firecracker Cookies were so fun!  Lots of giggles!

What you need:

Sugar Cookies

Icing (I used vanilla)

Pop Rocks

You could make your sugar cookies from scratch, but I think Pillsbury makes a great sugar cookie. (They come ready to pop in the oven)

I found the POP ROCKS candy in the candy section at Walgreens. You can also purchase from Amazon.

Bake your cookies and allow to complete cool. Frost your cookies and then sprinkle with Pop Rocks candy.

So fun and easy! You can even let the kids decorate these! Not only great for the 4th of July, but fun for a birthday party as well!

My Pop Rocks Firecracker Cookies were inspired by these Vanilla Firecracker Cupcakes
