Here is a fun, easy handmade ornament craft that is sure to be a big hit….a Snowman Handprint Ornament!

Snowman Handprint Ornament

Supplies you will need:

-1 round acrylic ornament (can be purchased at your local craft store)

-blue crinkle paper (found inn gift bag section)

-washable white craft paint

Step One

Remove cap from ornament and set aside. Have your child stuff the ornament with crinkle paper.

Step Two

Place a small amount of white paint on a paper plate or wax paper and place your child’s open hand, palm side down into paint.

Step Three

Hold child’s hand palm up and gently place ornament in hand and ask them to open fingers and slowly close hand around ornament followed by releasing it quickly.

Allow to dry and add finishing touches with acrylic paint to turn your child’s fingers into snowmen. (I also painted my child’s name and the year on the bottom of the ornament)

Remember: Crafts should always supervised by an adult and be age appropriate.

Be sure to print this week craft coupons before heading out to Hobby Lobby, JoAnn or Michaels!
